It’s a wild and woolly day here in Sechelt. All my garden plants are shedding their leaves and settling in for – dare I say it – winter. Eeek!

But before the last flower drops, there’s time for one last hurrah. The Sunshine Coast Art Crawl happens this weekend, and no matter what weather, it’s a giant celebration of the creative spirit that is so strong here on the coast! The whole coast is prepping for the rush of art afficionados – I’m thrilled to be a part of it all. Or as my exhibiting partner, Tzaddi Gordon of Tzaddimade would say … I’m scare-cited!

Today I’m happily snapping shots of the piles of paintings that I’ve finished this year. Tomorrow I’ll be enticing my butterflies to fly in formation as I figure out how & where to hang these paintings and prints. It’s all part of the process of letting the world see my creative innards …

To find out more about this coastwide event, go to www.sunshinecoastartcrawl.ca/jan-jensen-tzaddi-gordon Along with all the locals, there are lots of Vancouverites coming over, so come visit with me and my butterflies at venue #100 in Sechelt.
